The Aughrim team that booked their place in the AIB Leinster Junior B Final
On a weekend where the stormy weather played havoc with the conditions, well done to the teams who put on entertaining games in our AIB Leinster Club Championships this weekend.
In the first round of the Intermediate Championship, Mount Leinster Rangers of Carlow overcame the Leinster and All Ireland Intermediate Champions, Camross on Saturday afternoon. They will now go on to host Emeralds from Kilkenny in the Quarter Finals next weekend.
Clough/Ballacolla from Laois had a four point win over Meath’s Dunderry on Sunday afternoon in the Quarter Final of the Junior A Championship and set up a Semi Final clash with Offaly’s Ballinamere/Durrow.
In the Junior B Semi Final, Wicklow’s Aughrim proved to be too strong for Kildavin/Clonegal and as a result will take on holders, St Kevin’s of Louth in the Provincial Final.
