The May Bank Holiday comprised of a double header of Leinster Minor Finals at Cedral St Conleth’s Park in Newbridge.
Kildare and Laois contested the Minor B Final in a tightly fought match with Kildare leading by a point at the break with the scoreline reading 0-7 to 0-6. After the break and both teams began to find their range in terms of goal scoring. Kildare built up a sizeable lead but Laois threw the proverbial kitchen sink at their hosts and despite 5 points between the teams in the closing stages it was a tense finale but the Lillywhites held on for a memorable win.
The Minor A Final saw recently crowned All Ireland Champions, Kilkenny take on the 2025 Leinster Champions, Wexford. Boyed on by their recent success the Kilkenny girls proved to be too strong on the day and went on to add the Leinster title to the All Ireland crown.
Our sincere thanks to everyone at Cedral St Conleths Park for their work and support and facilitating us in playing our Finals in a fabulous grounds.
