Linda Leavy of County Meath has been voted in as the new Leinster Development Officer, bringing an end to a three-year period during which the position remained unfilled.
Ms. Leavy is well known for her commitment and experience in development roles, having previously held the position of Development Officer in her native Meath. Her proven track record at county level has been widely recognised, with her election reflecting strong confidence in her ability to lead and support development initiatives across the Leinster region.
The Leinster Development Officer role is considered vital in coordinating growth, engagement, and strategic planning throughout the province. Following a prolonged vacancy, Ms. Leavy’s appointment is seen as a significant and positive step forward.
Linda Leavy will assume her new position with immediate effect and is looking forward to working closely with counties and stakeholders across Leinster to strengthen development pathways and build on existing foundations.
