It will be three years this summer since Kilkenny lifted the O’Duffy Cup, a nailbiting 1-13 to 1-12 win over Cork in 2022, securing the Cats their 15th All-Ireland senior camogie title.
This Saturday, they’ll head to Owenbeg to take on Derry in the opening fixture of their GlenDimplex All-Ireland senior camogie championship, that game throwing in at 2pm. At the same time in Ennis, Wexford get their senior campaign underway against Clare, while Dublin make the trip to Kenny Park in Athenry to take on Galway in a 4pm throw-in.
Laois, Louth and Wicklow are all in action in the Premier Junior ranks, Louth hosting Tyrone at Knockbridge at 2pm on Saturday, with Laois Hire O’Moore Park playing host to Laois v Wicklow, also at 2pm.
Lastly, in the U23A championship, Kilkenny are away to Cork in Pairc Uí Rinn, that game also at 2pm on Saturday.
We wish all teams the very best of luck in their championship endeavours this season.
